My experience with Jeremy seth morgan PA-C at NRHA Oak Hill was very good. Efficient, personable. All four of the staff persons I had interaction with did fine. I was having removal of a bump on L temple. I thought the way they handled preparation and performance of the procedure was fine. I don't remember signing any consent for the procedure. Everyone there at the Beckley office was absolutely wonderful I was nervous and scared about the whole ordeal but they all was so kind and sweet to me that I felt alot better. Beautiful offices Was called back quickly. Nurses were very Friendly and helpful. Dr Brian came in, looked at my problem. He was going to give a prescription. As he and the nurse was walking out I told him I was disappointed. I came there for a diagnosis, not a prescription and told to come back in thirty days. I ask him for a biopsy. I have had this problem at least 6 months or more. He did the biopsy and stitched me. I am to go back to have my stitches removed in7 days. 12 days for biopsy results. Just a note, doctors need to wear their white coats.

I cannot remember the Drs name but she came in in street clothes and so down to earth that I absolutely relaxed. I needed a punch biopsy and I swear, no pain at all. A little tiny needle for numbing purposes. I live much closer to at least one of their offices but choose to travel because of relaxing atmosphere.

The entire journey from the referral to Derm One by my doctor to the removal of my stitches a week after my Mohs surgery was smooth, pain-free, and pleasant. Of course, no one wants to be told they may have skin cancer, but the wait for the biopsy was only a couple of weeks. The PA that did the biopsy was a perfect combination of sympathetic and straightforward. I vacationed for most of the 2 weeks I was awaiting the results. The doctor who told me I had a squamous cell carcinoma explained the Mohs surgery explained the procedure in detail and assured me of the high success rate. The surgery itself was painless. They were able to remove all the cancerous cells in one scraping. Stitches in place, I went home. The next week they removed the stitches and set a follow-up appointment for a few months down the road. Everyone at Derm One was friendly, nice, and very helpful. I highly recommend the practice to anyone in need of a dermatologist.

A problem exists that you never see the same practitioner twice and there is a rushed dynamic. I was scheduled with a Brian Catsky on 11/14/23 and saw a female practitioner instead, who seemed a bit frustrated/defensive with my input and questions. However, care has been moderately good overall, over time.
